Garden Box

Here is a garden box that was a request from a co-worker for her daughter.  My husband built it (I helped!!!) and I painted and decorated it!  Hope you like it!
These are the "before vinyl" pics:

These are the "after vinyl" pics:

It is a two tiered garden box.  Each section is 2'x2'.  The lower section is 12" deep and the upper section is 18" deep!  We delivered it yesterday and the LOVED IT!!!

Continuing Project

As I posted before, we have a project that we are doing in stages.  We are decorating a glass window that goes in a door at our local bar.  We first did the vinyl "preview" that we etched onto a mirror.  This way the owner of the bar could see what the project would actually look like, and we didn't have to spend tons of money on it. (I had a stray mirror already waiting to be etched!)  After it was approved by the owner, we finally etched the "real glass".  It did take us a few attempts to get it right on the glass (no bubbles and centered), but it is done...FINALLY!  Here is a picture of the finished glass.  Once it gets installed into the door, I will post a final picture of the project.
The glass is clear, we just used a white background so that we could take a picture!

Teacher Appreciation Gift

I "craft-lifted" this project from another blog.  I changed it up a little bit, but used the same printables.  My daughter's teacher loved it!

I used a basic vase and etched the teacher's name, #1 Teacher, and flowers on it.  Of course I wanted to put some "bling" on it, but since I waited until the last second, I didn't have time!  I still love the way it turned out.

Here are a couple of centerpieces that I made for Easter.  My mother-in-law loves peeps, so I thought that these would be perfect.  Also, those are chocolate covered peeps in the pots!  Total cost for both centerpieces (including chocolate) $10!!! And they are edible!

Jury of my Peeps

Happy Easter to All!!!  I hope that everyone had a Blessed Easter!

We made this for my mother-in-law who is a legal secretary.  We got the idea from a website that had different Peep Scenes.

T-Shirts

T-Shirts I made for two of my children!

Memorial Tile

This is a memorial tile that we etched for a co-worker's friend.  We did not want to put the whole name because we thought that it would feel too much like a headstone, so we just used a monogram.  The saying is etched onto a marble tile (Home Depot).  This was our first "official" sale!  We are so excited!

Adding pictures

I am just learning all of the blogging how-to's.  I am hoping that I can get it right on my first try!  Here it goes!
Here is the link to my etsy store  madeggcreations.etsy.com
Now I am going to try to upload a picture of the glass block that I have put on etsy.
Glitter Glass Block

Yeah!  I did it!
Now I just need to figure out a way to get all of my links to open in a new window!
Well it is getting late and I think that I may need to rest up before trying to teach myself anything else on here! My head is starting to hurt a little!

Am I really going to commit to this blog?

Just remembered that I had started a blog!  I love the idea of posting my projects and creations on here, but I don't know how realistic it is.  The bad thing is I can't say that I don't have the time!  Even with having 4 children, I have plenty of free time to create and blog.  Well, I can only hope that I will commit to doing this blog.  I guess time will tell.

First Post

Just seeing how this blogging thing actually works.
I can change fonts, but there aren't many options.
Ooooh, I can change color too.
